Customer Service Centres closed Friday, 26 June for staff training
Residents are advised that Gannawarra Shire Council's Customer Service Centres in Cohuna and Kerang will be closed on Friday, 26 June to allow staff to undertake training. During this time, staff will not be available to assist with general enquiries, either by phone or in person.
Council Chief Executive Officer Geoff Rollinson said the temporary closure will support staff development and help ensure high-quality service for the community.
"Like all organisations, it's important that our Customer Service team continues to build their skills and stay up to date with the requirements of their roles," Mr Rollinson said.
"To allow all staff to participate in this training, Council has made the decision to close our Customer Service Centres for one day. This has been scheduled on one of our quieter days to minimise disruption to residents."
Residents will be able to contact Council in the following ways during the Customer Service Centre closure:
All emergencies, including animal or livestock matters, can be reported by phoning Council on (03) 5450 9333.
General queries can be emailed to
council@gsc.vic.gov.au
Problems or issues that require further investigation by Council can be reported online at
www.gsc.vic.gov.au/request
"Council thanks residents and others who may need to contact Council during this time for their understanding," Mr Rollinson said.
