Connect With Council coming to Lake Charm
Lake Charm and district residents will have the opportunity to engage directly with Gannawarra Shire Council leaders next month as part of the latest session of the Connect With Council program.
Councillors and senior staff will be at the Lake Charm Hall on Wednesday, 11 November from 6.30pm to 8pm, with the session coinciding with the Kerang Lakes Community Development Group's monthly meeting.
"Connect With Council enables residents to share their thoughts, raise ideas and discuss local issues directly with Councillors and Council staff," Mayor Ross Stanton said.
"These sessions also provide an opportunity for Council to give an update on projects, services and advocacy efforts that are helping to support communities across the Gannawarra.
"The feedback we receive is incredibly valuable and helps Council better understand the priorities and aspirations of our communities."
Residents are welcome to attend whether they wish to raise a specific issue, learn more about Council projects and services, or simply meet with Councillors and staff.
"I encourage all interested residents to come along, ask questions, share their ideas and learn more about the work Council is doing on behalf of the community," Mayor Stanton said.
"Council thanks the Kerang Lakes Community Development Group for welcoming us as part of its monthly meeting and for its ongoing contribution to the Lake Charm district."
The Connect With Council program has visited communities across the Gannawarra throughout 2026 and provides an informal setting for residents to speak directly with Councillors and senior staff about issues that matter to them.
