Planning for the Future

Community members are invited to attend "Planning for the Future", a free information session at the Swan Hill Regional Library as part of Victorian Law Week on Monday 18 May from 2pm.

Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said the session aims to make the law more accessible and easier to understand.

"We're proud to be part of Victorian Law Week and to host an event that helps our community better understand what to do when the law intersects with everyday life," Ms Cullinan said.

Running under this year's Victorian Law Week theme,

"Where law meets life,"

the session will cover a range of important topics, including Enduring Powers of Attorney, Health Decision Makers, Advance Care Directives and more .

"The event aims to help people better understand their rights and the legal services available when issues arise - whether at home, at work, in relationships, or in everyday situations," Ms Cullinan said.

All community members are welcome to attend. Registrations are preferred but not essential.
