The project delivered upgraded LED Lighting to 200 LUX on two netball courts at the Hopetoun Recreation Reserve, to meet lighting standards and improve capacity, inclusion and safety and provide more equitable and inclusive participation opportunities for women and girls in local community sport.
Works included the installation of six new lighting poles, dimmer controls for each court, and an on‑site electrical upgrade to support the new infrastructure.
The project had a total cost of $177,402 and was jointly funded by the Victorian Government, which provided a grant of $132,402 through the 2024-25 Country Football & Netball Program.
