The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) is undertaking a review of the Basin Plan and now is your opportunity to help build an approach that delivers more for our communities, industries, rivers and floodplains.
MDBA has released a discussion paper seeking community feedback and is open for consultation until 1 May 2026.
The review will examine what is working and what needs to change. The outcomes of the review will be used to shape the future of water management in the Murray-Darling Basin.
This is a once in a decade opportunity to have your say and help shape a better Basin Plan.
