BOUNDARY ROAD, GREENHILL AT HODGES BRIDGE
Hodge's Bridge on Boundary Road, Edgecombe has had its load limit reduced from 12 tonnes down to 2.5 tonnes, with an advisory crossing speed limit of 20km/h.
The 2.5-tonne load restriction will prevent commercial and emergency service vehicles from using the bridge.
An alternative route has been investigated and traffic signage at the bridge approach and on detour routes will be provided.
Detour routes can cater for commercial and emergency services.
